Guardianship
of the Person - When a person becomes unable to provide informed
judgment, a guardian of the person will assist the
ward in making sure all of their needs are being met according
to the wishes that they had expressed and /or in their best interest
and will meet those needs in the least restrictive setting possible.
Guardianship of the Estate - For someone who becomes disabled
there is a need to make sure that the assets are used for their interest. Guardianship
Services of New Hampshire will provide oversight and participate
in management of an individual's assets. Guardianship
Services of New Hampshire will
work to both maximize the return and assure that they are used in
the best interest of the ward. The Court reviews all estate accounts.
Conservator
–
Some
individuals may not have an incapacitating problem, but would like assistance
in managing their affairs. Guardianship
Services of New Hampshire is
prepared to become conservator and provide management and oversight
to an individual's assets.

Temporary Guardianship

times either medical conditions or placement issues arise for an individual
whom a long- term guardianship may be unnecessary. Guardianship

objective and to petition the Court to either terminate the guardianship or
revise the current order.
