Guardianship
of the Person - When a person becomes unable to provide informed
judgment, a guardian of the person will assist the
ward in making sure all of their needs are being met according
to the wishes that they had expressed and /or in their best interest
and will meet those needs in the least restrictive setting possible.
Guardianship of the Estate - For someone who becomes disabled
there is a need to make sure that the assets are used for their interest. Guardianship

in management of an individual's assets. Guardianship

the best interest of the ward. The Court reviews all estate accounts.
Conservator – Some
